First Post
You might be thinking that this will be my welcome post, but I think I will skip that. I will go to my photo blog post right away. For several weeks now I have been doing my self assignment to learn the theory and technicalities of taking photos. This week I proceed to the “Hands” project. However rather than hands I did a shot of my little daughter’s feet. She was playing with her feet and I did notice that it is the right time to take a picture. And here it is (Tara’s Feety Feet Feet):
Ofcourse I used my Nikon D40 with 50mm 1.8 lens, Manual setting, F2.2, 1/8 secs. I did some Hue/Saturation correction in Photoshop ;-) and run my own Border It! action to frame it. So where is the “Hands” assignment, I also have that since I don’t want to skip my weekly program. Here it is:
Manual F2 1/25 secs using again a Nikon 50mm Lens. I perform a Black and White layer adjustment in Photoshop CS3 for this one. Tell you frankly, I am not satisfied on my focusing skills for both photos which I need to work on. Aside from that I am very happy with the actual shots, I might do it again if there will be opportunity (I prefer a unscripted shot).
There are other photos I have taken for my weekly assignment but I just want to post another one from previous week. The topic is to “gaya” or copy the shot taken by my friend, and you may say that there are lots of this with tutorials but what the heck, I want my own hehehe. So here it is:
I did follow the tutorial that can be found in the net (which you can find here) but I did modified the angle of the shot and the position of the light. I am very satisfied of the output and I did not post process it in Photoshop except for the border applied, woohoo!!!. So this is it, I hope that I could post again soon hahaha. Ciao! Sa uulitin.
